Online Registration for next year’s Workshops will be open in Spring 2027 , link on Home Page.
In Person Registration Mon 12th July at St Brigid’s Hall from 8.30 am.
Bodhrán Workshops are always very well attended at our summer school and 2025 was no exception.
St Brigid’s Hall was the venue last year for all three classes with levels taught from Beginner to Advanced by our three intrepid tutors, Iarla Dunford, Conal McCormack & Junior Davey. (2026 Venues t.b.c.)
In 2024, thanks to her family, we remembered local girl Margaret Killoran, who sadly passed away in November 2021.
Margaret attended Junior Davey’s Bodhrán Workshop at the summer school every year and last year we were delighted to award the inaugural Margaret Killoran Memorial Scolarship to Workshop student, Kerry Kay Osborne, in recognition of her exceptional attitude and contribution to the class all week.
This past July the Scholarship recipient was Luke Hanlon, totally deserved for his participation and dedication not just in 2025 but over the past number of years as a regular attendee.
Both Kerry and Luke are pictured receiving their scholarships.
